Note: When using a 168th flywheel use kit 712567V Note: GM 4.3 V6 conversion applications with a 168th flywheel will experience header interference with the slave cylinder & throw-out arm. It has a overall transmission case length of 24.00 inch. The bellhousing kit includes a 356 T-6 aluminum bellhousing, universal dust cover plate, pilot bushing, AX15 bearing retainer assembly, seal, throw-out arm, slave cylinder push rod, slave cylinder push rod end, ball pivot, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions. Transmission: The AX15 was used in model years 1989-99. Through out the years we have seen two different input pilot tip dimensions. The output shaft has a positive stick out and is 23 spline. This adapter bellhousing assembly is used to adapt the GM 4.3, V8 to the Jeep AX15, 5 speed manual transmissions. Required Clutch Options: P/N 716213 Slave Cylinder P/N 383271 10.5 inch Clutch Disc P/N N1430 Throw-Out Bearing P/N CF360056 10.5 inch Pressure Plate Chevy V6 or V8 engines;AX-15;California Residents: WARNING 1997-99 used a .750 inch diameter. 1989-95 used a .590 inch diameter. At that time, it is recommended that a muffler shop custom make an exhaust down pipe. The AX15 was found coupled to the Jeep 4.0L. This kit is designed to fit the GM block with a 153T flywheel.
